”Put your hands on your head!” A scream broke the peace. Her eyes quickly formed tears, moving to all places: focus on her partner or find the threat? ”RIGHT NOW!” The tall woman complied. There was a chance of negotiation if they did as told, her rationale said.
”What do you want from us?” her associate said.
”Your human flesh.” A werewolf-looking person, its face covered by a mask, jumped from the adjacent building and approached them at a slow, menacing pace.
”Then come and get it!” His body language provoked the wolf.
”Are you out of your mind?!” Luna whispered, her panic deepening with every breath.

She hadn't even checked her surroundings in case there were more wolves — she focused on the door, on hearing it open to step on the gas. ”Leave!” Seconds lazily passed by, refusing the completion of a minute. cemetery of past metropolitan ruckus. ”GET OUT OF
HERE!” It was full blast now; the wind carried the command far and wide across the derelict neighborhood.
But she couldn't, not without him. Her left hand poised
to steer, right hand on key holding duty. ”LUNA!” His tone of voice set off an alarm inside of her.
