''Too late!'' He wasn't even listening.
The couple of besties were moving at full speed towards the northern city ruins, buildings showing just how tall they can stand. I dislike him a lot so I'll just call him ''shitbag''. Well, shitbag finally decreased the speed, either because the city is actually dangerous or so that Luna could enjoy the claustrophobic feeling of not being able to feel the light of the Sun. Whatever. Luna was entering panic attack mode, trying to find the danger she knew was lurking in the shadows... or plants. There were so many hiding points. There were patrols everywhere. They knew about this. It was a set up. He's part of a very complex scheme to expose Luna's identity. She should've seen this coming, so obvious. Bastard. She will not go down that easily, she didnt agree to-
''Here we are!'' The husband's voice brought Luna back to the present moment. He stopped in front of probably... definitely the creepiest building he could choose in the entire city. Enclosed by debris and structures fighting to survive one more day, this building seemed intact. It didn't even have vegetation like the others.
''I could point out so many things that are wrong with this place...''
''Lucky us, this isn't a competition of pointing out wrong things.'' Shitbag thought he was so funny.
''There's no way for me to convince you, right?'' Luna asked.
''I can tell you the same thing! Hahaha.'' Maybe agreeing to marry this bastard was Luna's fatal life choice.
Entering the world's biggest coffin (the creepy building), shit was empty. As everything is outside of Hometown and the out lands. There was no proof it was ever used; They found themselves in a cement box. No walls, no rests of furniture. Only two giant holes: One that connected to the adjacent building, the other one being partially covered by an upper part of the street. Maybe it was a trap after all.
''Welcome to our new home.'' The husband blurted out, expanding his arms in the nothingness of the musty box.
''Our what?'' Luna was in utter disbelief, perplexed; Bamboozled.
