”Which were motorized bicycles.”
His face expressed surprise, pleased by the unexpected interruption. ”Exactly!”
”The name gave it away.” She added, showing a glimpse of a smile before returning to her analysis of the new sights. As they drove deeper into the mountains, the sky grew grim; walls covered by thick vegetation and the air felt warmer, condensation sticking to her face. The couple of friends arrived at a colossal gate that seemed to block the firmament from that point forward. Pieces of ancient technology piled up to create these giant doors, plants on the sides contributing to the notion of them being ignored by everyone but nature. Such an unsettling environment engrossed Luna so greatly she got distracted from the most surprising element: it was lit up, powered by electricity.
”Save some of that amazement for later! The best part awaits beyond.” His excitement overflowing.
”What? We shouldn't go any farther. I have a bad feeling about this. Seriously.” Luna protested with a stoic look on her face and crossing her arms, which worried the man on the scene a bit. His type was not known for listening to the voice of reason, trusting a witch's intuition or even using a little bit of logic; Whichever was causing her to be against his idea got lost in his brain.
