People will draw men with different face structures, wrinkles, height, body shapes, weight. But women always with the same anime style. Young. Attractive. Slim. Being human is reserved to men, women can only ever be commodities to be consumed, even if with your eyes. If you do draw women with different faces, you need to make them wear the disguise of 'woman', add makeup and dresses, or others won't be able to tell they're not looking at a man. 'Humanity is male, and man defines woman, not in herself, but in relation to herself' - Simone de Beauvoir. They view us as subproducts, a 'rib', so we must tell ourselves apart.

 

Women shouldn't fight to be recognized as such, let alone to be treated with basic human respect.

I'm just extremely sick of seeing every cast with these big ugly men while women look all the same. I'm thinking about Marvel Rivals, yes. But it can be applied to any other piece of media.
